Human Resources Specialist

Administer employee benefits and coordinate with third-party vendors Manage leave of absence programs, accommodations, and related documentation Coordinate new hire onboarding and orientation programs Interpret and communicate HR policies and procedures Respond to employee HR inquiries with professionalism and confidentiality Manage offboarding processes, including documentation and system updates Support recruiting efforts through interview coordination and candidate communication Maintain accurate employee records and HR documentation Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws Assist with performance review cycles and HR projects focused on process improvement Requirements Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience 4+ years of HR experience, preferably within a law firm or professional services environment supporting multiple offices PHR or SHRM-CP certification preferred Experience with HRIS systems and Microsoft Office (ADP experience preferred) Strong communication, organizational, and problem‑solving skills Ability to manage multiple priorities while maintaining confidentiality and accuracy Core Competencies Demonstrates expertise in administering employee benefits, managing leave of absence programs, and ensuring compliance with employment laws.
