Job Opportunity – Gastroenterologist – Michigan

Location: Jackson, Michigan

Compensation: Details provided to qualified applicants

Schedule: One week of coverage per month (minimum 6-month commitment). 24-hour call coverage, Saturday 7:00 AM through the following Saturday at 6:59 AM. In-house coverage 7:00 AM to 7:00 PM, followed by pager/beeper overnight. Call ratio 1:4.

Requirements:

• Board Certified in Gastroenterology (required)
• Fellowship training in Gastroenterology (required)
• Active Michigan medical license (required)
• ACLS and BLS certification through AHA (required)
• Ability to perform hospital-based GI procedures including colonoscopy, EGD, ERCP, and advanced GI procedures (required)
• Clean malpractice and license history with no exceptions (required)
• Familiarity with Epic EMR system (preferred)
