Advanced Endoscopist

This is a full-time opportunity for an Advanced Endoscopist to join a skilled and welcoming team of dedicated physicians and advanced practice providers. The position offers access to a high-volume, endoscopy-only ambulatory surgery center and a state-of-the-art inpatient endoscopy unit. MAC anesthesia is provided for all inpatient and outpatient procedures, enhancing patient comfort and procedural efficiency. The work environment is collaborative and supportive, valuing professionalism, confidence, and teamwork. The facilities are equipped with modern technology, including Olympus 190 scopes and Epic for documentation. The call schedule is manageable, with coverage anticipated every eighth week. The typical daily endoscopy schedule includes 14 outpatient procedures, with inpatient census averaging fewer than 10 patients. Advanced practice providers offer support for inpatient consults, ensuring a balanced and sustainable workload. The role involves serving as a referral center, providing specialized care across the region. There are opportunities for collaboration with various oncology services and interventional specialties.
