Degree in Speech-Language Pathology, active SLP license and 1+ year of Speech-Language Pathology experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.

Make a positive impact supporting students as a Speech-Language Pathologist on a contract assignment! Two full-time, full school year onsite opportunities are available in a welcoming school setting. Your expertise will help students build essential communication skills and reach their educational goals.

Qualified, CCC-certified SLPs are strongly encouraged to apply, though strong Clinical Fellows may also be considered. This is an excellent chance to work closely with a collaborative team, with consistent support and established procedures in place.

Experience & Qualifications:

• Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology
• Active state licensure to practice as an SLP in Texas
• Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) preferred; clinical fellow candidates will be reviewed
• Previous school-based experience is a plus
• Strong assessment, documentation, and collaboration skills
• Ability to adapt practices to diverse student needs
• Solid communication skills for consultation with teachers, staff, and parents
• Comfortable with the full-time, full school year onsite schedule

Responsibilities:

• Provide direct speech and language therapy services to students as outlined in their IEPs
• Conduct evaluations to determine program eligibility and develop individualized goals
• Consult with teachers, support staff, and families to facilitate student success
• Maintain thorough, timely documentation of progress and services rendered
• Participate in IEP meetings and provide expert recommendations
• Foster a positive, inclusive environment for all students
