CNA I - Certified Nursing Assistant Night Shift

Overview: Join a compassionate healthcare team as a Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) providing essential patient care during night shifts. This role involves assisting with patient admissions, supporting nursing care plans, and maintaining a safe, clean environment for patients in a medical unit. Key Responsibilities:
This position serves a diverse regional community in the Southeastern United States, offering a supportive environment for professional growth and patient-centered care.
- Assist patients with daily care needs and respond promptly to their requests.
- Support the admission process by orienting patients to the unit and equipment.
- Carry out delegated nursing tasks to help implement care plans.
- Maintain patient safety by properly using equipment and supplies.
- Manage and restock supplies to ensure a well-organized patient environment.
- Participate in cost containment and accurate patient service charging.
- Engage in educational and performance improvement activities.
- Perform waived testing and maintain required skills per unit competency.
- Demonstrate responsibility in customer satisfaction and patient throughput.
- Current registration with the appropriate state nursing assistant registry.
- Basic computer skills and ability to read and write English.
- Excellent communication and guest relations skills.
- Flexibility with work schedules and ability to learn new skills.
- Physical ability to stand, walk, bend, lift, and assist patients as needed.
- Visual and auditory acuity to observe patient conditions.
- Willingness to work variable shifts and exposure to blood and body fluids.
- Certification in Basic Life Support (BLS) from the American Heart Association.
