Food Service PositionDo you know that awesome moment when food is being brought to your table? Well, if you want to be the most popular guy that sees all of the smiles in the restaurant, then this position is for you! Your daily activities will be to accurately deliver food to guests using seat positions and description of food to guests, removing any dirty plates and assisting with new silverware, chopsticks or any requests that guests may have. You will also be the one that describes the food to guests and the one that keeps those with allergies safe.Tasks and responsibilities to help you through the shift:Set kitchen with all appropriate plateware needed for serviceSweep and mop expo service area before serviceAssists with expo if chefs need to get on line during serviceLocate items requested by customersScrape and stack dirty dishes and carry dishes and other tableware to kitchens for cleaningPerform serving, cleaning, or stocking duties in establishments as neededOther duties: Please note this job description is not designed to cover or contain a comprehensive listing of activities, duties or responsibilities that are required of the employee for this job. Duties, responsibilities and activities may change at any time with or without notice.Essential physical requirements:Able to work standing up and walking during entire shiftAble to continuously reach, carry, lift, bend, stoop and wipe throughout entire shiftPulling and pushing weight up to 50 poundsCommon hazards include but are not limited to burns, falls, slipping, tripping and cutsCarry heavy trays and/or bus tubs for long periods of timeReasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions.Work environment: While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly exposed to wet and/or humid conditions. Wet floors may also exist during a shift. The employee is occasionally exposed to fumes or airborne particles. The noise level in the work environment varies from quiet to very loud.
