Manager of FP&A - Subscriber Forecasting

Job Summary Manager of Finance for Subscriber Forecasting will be reporting directly to the VP of FP&A. In this role, the ideal candidate will be able to autonomously work on budgeting and forecasting, month-end close, and serve as go-to resource for business leaders in achieving their operational and subscriber goals. Responsibilities Budget/forecast - Responsible for the development of strategic and operational aspects of annual budget/ monthly forecast for subscriber disconnect activity. Month End Close - Work closely with subscriber forecasting team and data reporting to ensure accurate and consistent recording of subscriber disconnect activity.Monthly, Quarterly, Annual subscriber reporting. Analyze and explain monthly variances and prepare and present various monthly schedules to reflect activity results. A resource for business leaders to help achieve operational and financial goals. Update and review analysis outlining outcome vs plan and review with business leaders and work with business leaders to identify opportunities. Foster effective information flow and communication to ensure results and reports are consistent Identify best practices to improve to current work flow and create efficiencies and consistencies across network Assist with special projects and ad-hoc analysissis Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Business, or Finance. Master's degree is a plus Minimum of 5+ years of experience with strong analytical skills and can take accountability/ownership to drive results Ability to adapt to changes in scope of position Cultivate cooperative working relationship, a team player, self-starter, adhere to deadlines while ensuring a high level of accuracy, professionalism, confidentiality, and quality Great interpersonal skills, excellent verbal & written communication, organize, attention to details, and can multitask Able to work independently and under pressure in a fast pace environment Fast learner with the ability to identify problems and seek solutions Willing to be flexible and work hard to support business needs Advance knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite and proficient in Oracle, Hyperion, and Essbase Industry experience is a plus At Optimum, every action and interaction we take part in, is driven by our three Guiding Principles: Do What's Right, Drive One Optimum, and Make It Happen. The starting pay rate/range at time of hire for this position in the posted location is$102,816.00 - $168,912.00 / year.
