Commercial Tax Services (CTS) Manager Job Location: Braintree, MA 02184 Position Type: Full Time / Experienced Salary Range: $90,000.00 - $200,000.00 Job Category: Tax We are seeking a CTS Manager in the Tax Department. The role will focus on providing expert tax services to clients, ensuring compliance, and managing daily client needs. Responsibilities Review tax returns, tax projections, and tax workpapers. Have strong tax knowledge and experience in S Corps, Partnerships, and other entities (knowledge of individual taxation a plus). Provide effective consulting, planning and compliance services for clients. Oversee and manage day‑to‑day client needs and the tax return process, identifying and resolving tax issues. Perform tax research to resolve issues. Maintain strong relationships with a proactive approach to serving clients. Coordinate with Partners to ensure timeliness and effective communication for project planning. Coach, mentor, and train staff. Keep current on new tax issues and general business trends that affect clients. Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in Accounting required; Master’s in Taxation preferred; CPA preferred. 7+ years of progressive public accounting experience. Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Capable of managing multiple client engagements. Track record of building and sustaining client relationships and delivering high‑quality service. Outstanding analytical, organizational and project management skills. Proficiency with CCH Axcess, Sureprep, BNA Income Tax Planner, CCH AnswerConnect, RIA Checkpoint, XCM and Microsoft Office.
