Travel RN - Operating Room

American Traveler is hiring an experienced RN Circulator for an Operating Room position requiring proficiency across multiple surgical specialties and on-call availability.

Job Details

• Operating Room setting providing circulating nursing care across multiple surgical specialties,
• Day shift schedule of four 9.5-hour shifts weekly, Monday-Friday, 6:30a-4p,
• On-call required 3 weeknights per month and 1 weekend every 6 weeks,
• Must be able to reach the hospital within 30 minutes when on call,
• Circulates cases in Orthopedics including total joints, arthroscopy, and orthopedic trauma,
• Circulates OB/GYN cases including C-sections, robotic and laparoscopic hysterectomy, D&C, and related GYN procedures,
• Circulates General Surgery cases including robotic, laparoscopic, and open colon procedures, cholecystectomy, appendectomy, hernia repair, and mastectomy/breast biopsy,
• Circulates Urology, Podiatry, ENT, and Interventional Radiology cases,

Job Requirements

• Active RN license (Missouri or Compact) currently in hand,
• Proficient circulating experience across Orthopedic, OB/GYN, and General surgery specialties required, as these are the primary call coverage cases,
• Experience circulating additional specialties including Urology, Podiatry, ENT, and Interventional Radiology preferred,

Additional Information

• Responsible for coordinating patient care functions within the OR alongside other disciplines and providers,
• Ensures patients receive professional nursing care throughout their surgical appointment
