Travel RN - Telemetry - Progressive Care Unit

American Traveler is hiring a Night Shift RN for a Progressive Care Unit (PCU) position requiring 1 year of experience and an active MO or Compact RN license. Requirements Active MO or Compact RN license required in hand at time of consideration BLS and ACLS certifications required Minimum of 1 year of recent experience required in the specialty Experience with IV therapy, phlebotomy, and peripheral line care Experience with cardiac monitoring and interpretation/management of dysrhythmias Ability to ambulate, reach, and move objects weighing up to and over 20 lbs Responsibilities Progressive Care Unit (PCU)/DOU/IMC/Stepdown setting within a hospital Night shift schedule, 3x12 hours, 19:00-7:30 13-week assignment length Cerner charting system preferred but not required Mandatory floating to Medical-Surgical (MS) or ICU units, including duties as a Patient Observer/Sitter Cardiac monitoring and telemetry responsibilities on the unit Provide comprehensive care to stepdown/progressive care patients including cardiac, respiratory, and renal management Work in a healthcare facility operating 24/7, 365 days a year Rotating shifts required, including holidays and during inclement weather Required to work at least 50% of holidays occurring during the contract Exposure to patients with contagious illnesses is routine Maximum RTO of 10 days permitted, with none allowed during the first week due to orientation First-time travelers are welcome to apply Candidates residing within 50 miles of the facility are not eligible for consideration Candidates residing 51-74 miles away may be offered a local rate Benefits High Pay and Bonuses Medical, Dental and Vision Insurance with Day 1 Options 401(k) Plan Weekly Payroll Deposit Free Online CEUs Generous Housing Allowance Travel and Licensure Reimbursements Non-taxed Per Diem and Subsidy Traveler Rewards and Discounts Job ID: P-753437 Open Positions: 1 #J-18808-Ljbffr American Traveler
