Overview Class A Driver From Warehouse to Worksite, You're the Link That Keeps Roto-Rooter Moving! We are growing and have an excellent opportunity for a Class A driver for sewer & water services repairs/replacements at our Bridgeport branch, located in Stratford, CT. The hourly pay range for this position is $24.00-$26.00, depending on experience. As a Class A driver for Roto-Rooter Services Company, you may drive vehicles such as heavy-duty plumbing trucks, septic pump trucks, vacuum trucks, or sewer jetting vehicles. Responsibilities Follow OSHA, Department of Transportation (DOT), and Root-Rooter safety procedures Interact with customers as needed Perform manual labor in an open excavation Operate and maintain equipment Work in confined spaces and open trenches Other responsibilities may include but not limited to; set up hoses, pumps, and mechanical systems to clean septic tanks or clear municipal sewer lines; Ensure all heavy tools, waste tanks, and construction materials are safely loaded, balanced, and tied down before transit; Help unload materials, set up job site safety perimeters, or assist technicians with hands-on tasks when needed and even interact professionally with clients on-site, explain service procedures, and confirm delivery or pumping details! Requirements Current CDL Class A license Construction experience a plus in both residential and commercial Able to work in confined spaces and open trenches Complete jobs within specified time lines Able to help out in excavation digs, equipment operator a major plus.
