Rental Assistance Supervisor

Pay Range: $ 68,000 - $75,000

Position Summary:

The Rental Assistance Supervisor will be responsible for overseeing and coordinating the administrative, programmatic, and fraud investigative functions of the Rental Assistance for Families in Transition (RAFT) program. This position will ensure the effective and timely administration of program activities, compliance with program requirements and policies. The Rental Assistance Supervisor will be responsible for maintaining program integrity and ensuring the delivery of high-quality services to eligible families.

Essential Functions and Responsibilities:

1. Ensure RAFT program is abiding by the funding source’s Administrative Plan
2. Oversee the RAFT Portal to ensure:
3. Applications are assigned
4. RAFT overflow is being managed
5. Landlord/Tenant application match is assigned
6. Reports are provided as requested
7. Applications are being processed, reviewed, approved
8. Investigate potential fraudulent applications
9. Communicate findings with other Rental Assistance Leads, the funding source, CTI VP and the agency CFO when necessary
10. Inform the owner of the fraudulent activity and take steps to recoup those funds
11. Follow all fraud reporting protocols set forth by the funding source
12. Work collaboratively with RAFT Leads on appeals, recoupment, voids and payment issues.
13. Review applications and submit for payment
14. Manage payment issues with property owners and tenants
15. Develop materials and facilitate training for the program
16. Oversee a small team, approve time/attendance and ensure accuracy of submitted applications.
17. Attend required meetings
18. Be the liaison between CTI’s RAFT Program and partner organizations
19. Uphold the values of CTI – Equity, Integrity, Compassion

Qualifications:

1. Knowledge and experience working with low income, culturally diverse, and at-risk families and individuals.
2. Prior related experience is required
3. Demonstrated knowledge of community resources available to low-income families and individuals
4. Excellent customer service, organizational, oral and written communication skills.
5. Ability to manage multiple priorities and work in a fast-paced environment.
6. Proficient computer skills required in basic computer software and data collection systems.
7. Strong ability to problem-solve and use crisis management skills.
8. Ability to maintain accurate records and confidentiality of information.
9. Excellent attention to detail
10. Able to pass state and federal background check
11. Ability to attend training on job related skills
12. High School degree or equivalent

Preferred Qualifications:

1. Minimum of one year of work in a human service field, experience working with Rental Assistance for Families in Transition
2. Bilingual skills (English/Spanish, English/Khmer English/Portuguese)

The base salary range represents the Agency’s good-faith estimate of the compensation for this role at the time of posting. Actual compensation within the range will be based on factors such as experience, skills, and qualifications.
