Job Description
Job Title: X-Ray Technologist
Profession: Radiology / Cardiology

Experience: Minimum of 1 year experience in all X-ray procedures and in surgery running C-arms
License: Washington license required
Certifications: ARRT R, BLS


Must-Have:
- Experience in running C-arm in the operating room
- Washington license in hand


Description:
All previous permanent employees of any affiliated facility must be separated from the health system for a minimum of 3 months to qualify for a travel position.
First-time travelers are accepted.
Experience in all X-ray procedures is necessary.
Experience includes abdomen decubitus, abdomen supine (KUB), abdomen upright, AC joints, adult acute care, and adult outpatient.
Skills include ankle, barium swallow/esophagus, bedside/portable procedures, and C-arm procedure.
Experience with cervical spine, chest AP, chest lateral decubitus, hip, humerus, lumbar spine, and pediatric acute care is preferred.
Knowledge of infection prevention, isolation precautions, radiation safety, and preparation/administration of contrast media is essential.
Experience with special procedures including trauma cases and upper GI series is a plus.
Patient age groups include neonates, adolescents, infants, adults, pediatrics, and geriatrics.
Collaboration with interdisciplinary support is integral to the position.
Candidates are required to provide 2 references covering 1 year within the last 3 years during the compliance process prior to the start.
Modules are to be completed pre-start and annually.
Time spent on modules is self-reported, and completion is recorded in transcripts.
