Primary Responsibilities Upon the order of a qualified physician, the Per Diem MRI Technologist will utilize equipment which utilizes high field magnetic energy for diagnostic purposes according to policies, procedures, and protocols of the KSC Radiology Department and Kelsey-Seybold Clinic Imaging services vary by location, therefore, performance of certain MR and MRA exams may be required depending on assigned site Utilize the designated Radiology Information System (RIS) to complete clerical processes and the designated Patient Archiving System (PACS) May be assigned to other duties, technical or non-technical if training, experience and credentials are deemed adequate by supervisor to perform those duties You’ll be rewarded and recognized for your performance in an environment that will challenge you and give you clear direction on what it takes to succeed in your role as well as provide development for other roles you may be interested in. Required Qualifications High School diploma or equivalent AND graduate of a program approved by the credentialing body for the required associated license(s) ARRT-MR - Radiologic Technologist - Magnetic Resonance Imaging (ARRT) -- For no experience OR ARMRIT - Registered Magnetic Resonance Imaging Technologist -- For no experience OR CMRT - Certified Medical Radiologic Technologist - State Licensure -- For no experience AND ARRT-R - Radiologic Technologist - Radiographer (ARRT) -- For 6 months of supervised MRI clinical scanning experience OR ARRT-N - Radiologic Technologist - Nuclear Medicine Tech (ARRT) -- For 6 months of supervised MRI clinical scanning experience OR ARRT-SON - Radiologic Technologist - Sonography (ARRT) -- For 6 months of supervised MRI clinical scanning experience OR RDMS - Registered Diagnostic Medical Sonographer (ARDMS) -- For 6 months of supervised MRI clinical scanning experience. RDMS certified as an Ultrasound Technologist OR CNMT - Certified Nuclear Medicine Technologist (NMTCB) -- For 6 months of supervised MRI clinical scanning experience B.
