Position Highlights: As a radiation oncologist at Kelsey-Seybold Clinic, you will join an organization led by physicians who value the ability to collaborate and share information as a team on behalf of their patients. Responsibilities include designing and supervising the execution of high-quality radiation treatments for patients with various diseases, ensuring all quality control standards are implemented and constant quality assurance measures are in place, remaining in compliance with best standards of patient care service documentation and all appropriate regulatory agency requirements, visually viewing, evaluating, and interpreting medical records, physical exams, and other relevant data of patients; to include competency in taking history and examining patients, processing all essential clinical and diagnostic findings into sound treatment recommendations in multidisciplinary settings, advocating and educating other clinicians within the Center regarding the current developments in radiation oncology and the future treatment options available across disease sites, identifying and solving problems related to job responsibilities using knowledge and experience in multiple settings; must be able to move from one multidisciplinary disease site to another, and active participation in Radiation Oncology peer review and Safety Committee. Tumor Board is held once a month.

Required Qualifications:

• Doctor of Medicine (M.D.), Doctor of Osteopathy (D.O.)
• Accredited Residency training
• Licensed or willing to be licensed in the State of Texas
• Board Certified in Radiation Oncology from the American Board of Radiology

Preferred Qualifications:

• Bilingual (English/Spanish) fluency

Compensation for this specialty generally ranges from $412,500 - $759,000. Total cash compensation includes base pay and bonus and is based on several factors including but not limited to local labor markets, education, work experience and may increase over time based on productivity and performance in the role. We comply with all minimum wage laws as applicable. In addition to your salary, we offer benefits such as, a comprehensive benefits package, incentive and recognition programs, equity stock purchase and 401k contribution (all benefits are subject to eligibility requirements).
