Job Title

Schedule / Job Type

Contract | Rotating Days and Nights | 3x12-Hour Shifts (7:00–19:30 and 19:00–7:30) | Every other weekend and some holidays required | No call

Key Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care in a high-acuity Cardiovascular Intensive Care Unit (CVICU)
• Operate and monitor the NextStage CVVH machine for patients requiring continuous renal replacement therapy
• Float to other units as needed based on staffing requirements
• Monitor and interpret cardiac rhythms, including identification of lethal arrhythmias
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to deliver care for critically ill cardiovascular patients

Required Qualifications

• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license required
• AHA BLS certification required
• AHA ACLS certification required
• Minimum two years of acute care inpatient RN experience within the last three years in CVICU or equivalent specialty
• Experience and knowledge of the NextStage CVVH machine required
• Must pass a telemetry examination prior to start (passing score of 80% or higher; 100% identification of lethal rhythms required; strict criteria apply with a maximum of three attempts)
• Must live at least 50 miles from the facility to be eligible — locals not accepted

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Experience in a Cardiothoracic Surgery setting
• Experience in an Acuity Adaptable care environment
