Customer Service Rep

Key Responsibilities Answer incoming calls Make an average of a minimum of 100 outbound calls per day Verify customers’ account details Record payment details Identify customers’ needs, clarify information, research issues, provide solutions Keep accurate and concise notes on accounts Follow communication procedures, guidelines, and policies Attend EAC-provided educational opportunities Skills Required Identifies and resolves problems in a timely manner Gathers and analyzes information skillfully Develops alternative solutions Works well in group problem solving situations; Uses reason even when dealing with emotional topics. Experience Required Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out detailed but uninvolved written or oral instructions Ability to deal with problems involving a few concrete variables in standardized situations. Equipment Used Confident typing skills Comfortable with data entry in web-based systems Proficient in basic computer use including Microsoft Office Suite products (Outlook, Excel, Word).
