Registered Nurse (RN) – Emergency DepartmentAtrium Health Stanly Emergency Department provides 24-hour emergency medical services to Stanly County and surrounding communities. From broken bones and severe cuts to heart attacks and strokes, we are prepared to provide patients of all ages the highest level of emergency care. Our expert staff includes physicians who are board-certified in emergency medicine.We're looking for:Completion of an accredited or approved program in nursingCandidates must have at least 6 months of RN experience, this position is not for new graduatesRegistered Nurse license issued by the state in which the teammate practicesBasic Life Support (BLS) for Healthcare Providers certification issued by the American Heart AssociationACLS required within 6 months of hire1 year of inpatient RN experience preferredWhat you'll do:As a skilled and compassionate RN, you will play a pivotal role in providing and coordinating comprehensive patient care through the nursing process to deliver safe, therapeutic care in accordance with established standards, policies, and procedures.Using evidence-based practice, clinical decision making, compassion, and skills communication while leading efforts to create the safest patient environment and the best patient experience across the continuum.About this location:Atrium Health Stanly is a 109-bed acute care hospital located in Albemarle, North Carolina, and has been serving the healthcare needs of the surrounding community for over 65 years.
