Above all, you are committed to protecting Synopsys' most valuable information assets while enabling innovation and business growth.Designing, implementing, and optimizing enterprise-wide Data Loss Prevention (DLP) and Information Protection solutions.Managing and enhancing data protection controls across email, endpoint, cloud, network, and collaboration platforms.Supporting the deployment and administration of Microsoft Purview Information Protection, Data Loss Prevention, and Sensitivity Labeling capabilities.Designing and implementing data security policies utilizing Microsoft Data Protection Suite technologies, including Information Protection, Insider Risk Management, and Data Lifecycle Management capabilities.Managing and optimizing data loss prevention controls, including inline DLP, CASB, SaaS security, cloud application protection, and internet egress controls.Developing and tuning data classification frameworks, sensitivity labels, auto-labeling policies, and protection rules for structured and unstructured data.Collaborating with legal, privacy, compliance, and business stakeholders to ensure data protection controls align with regulatory requirements and business objectives.Work with partner teams to investigate and resolve complex DLP incidents, policy violations, and data exposure events across enterprise environments.Establishing standards, best practices, and governance processes for data protection, classification, labeling, and secure data handling.Supporting Zero Trust initiatives through data-centric security controls and continuous monitoring of sensitive information movement.Automating operational processes and reporting through scripting, integrations, and security workflows.Documenting architectures, standards, procedures, and operational runbooks while providing technical guidance to stakeholders and engineering teams.Strengthen Synopsys' data security posture by preventing unauthorized data disclosure across cloud, endpoint, network, and collaboration environments.Protect critical intellectual property, customer information, and regulated data through effective classification, labeling, and DLP controls.Reduce organizational risk associated with insider threats, accidental data exposure, and unauthorized data exfiltration.Improve visibility into enterprise data usage, movement, and risk through advanced monitoring and policy enforcement.Enable secure collaboration and productivity while maintaining compliance with evolving regulatory and contractual requirements.Serve as a subject matter expert and trusted advisor for enterprise data protection strategy and architecture.Drive adoption of modern data-centric security capabilities that support Synopsys' continued innovation and growth.Enhance audit readiness and compliance through well-governed, measurable, and defensible data protection controls.Bachelor's degree in Cybersecurity, Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.Minimum of 5 years' experience in cybersecurity, data protection, information security, or related disciplines, with at least 2 years in a senior or lead engineering role.Deep hands-on expertise with Microsoft Information Protection Suite.Strong experience implementing enterprise DLP programs across email, endpoint, network, cloud, and SaaS environments.Hands-on experience with data loss prevention solutions, including CASB, inline DLP, and cloud security controls.Expertise in data classification methodologies, information governance, and data protection frameworks.Experience securing Microsoft 365 workloads, including Exchange Online, SharePoint Online, OneDrive, Teams, and Copilot environments.Understanding of data protection regulations and standards, including GDPR, CCPA, PCI-DSS, SOX, and other applicable compliance frameworks.Experience with cloud platforms including Azure, AWS, and GCP.Security certifications such as CISSP, CISM, CCSP, GIAC, Microsoft Security Certifications, or vendor-specific certifications are a plus (or willingness to obtain).Strategic and analytical thinker with a proactive approach to protecting sensitive data.Excellent communicator who can clearly articulate complex security concepts to both technical and non-technical audiences.Collaborative team player who builds strong partnerships across engineering, legal, compliance, privacy, and business teams.Detail-oriented and highly organized with a commitment to operational excellence.Adaptable and committed to continuous learning in the rapidly evolving data security landscape.Highly ethical, trustworthy, and dedicated to safeguarding the organization's most critical information assets.You will join Synopsys' Data & Identity Security Engineering team, a highly skilled group of security professionals focused on protecting the company's intellectual property, sensitive information, and critical business systems.
