Chief Engineer

Chief Engineer Wanted: Keep Downtown Nashville's Hottest Hotel Running Like Clockwork!

Where Music City's Skyline Meets Your Next Big Move

Broadway's neon glow is three blocks away. The Cumberland River winds past your window. And somewhere between the honky-tonks and the high-rises, a hotel hums along on flawless mechanical rhythm — because of you.

This is downtown Nashville, where the music never stops and neither does the energy. At Hampton Inn & Suites Nashville Downtown Capitol View, we're looking for a rare kind of talent: someone who sees a building not as steel and wiring, but as a living, breathing instrument — and who knows exactly how to keep it in perfect tune.

The Opportunity

As the mastermind behind our property's every system — HVAC, electrical, plumbing, life safety, and beyond — you'll be the quiet force ensuring guests never know how much orchestration goes into their comfort. You'll lead a team, manage preventive maintenance like a maestro leads a symphony, and keep this beautifully bustling hotel operating at its peak, night and day.

What You'll Bring to the Marquee

• A sharp technical mind with proven experience in hotel or commercial building engineering
• Deep know-how across HVAC, electrical, plumbing, and general building systems
• Strong leadership instincts — you inspire your team, not just supervise it
• A calm, solutions-first mindset when the unexpected hits (because in hospitality, it always does)
• A genuine pride in craftsmanship and a commitment to safety at every turn

Why This Stage, This City

Nashville isn't just a backdrop — it's a character in your everyday story. Grab a coffee near the historic Ryman Auditorium, catch the sunset over the pedestrian bridge, or simply enjoy being steps from where country music legends got their start. Our hotel captures that same spirited energy: modern, warm, and always moving to its own beat.

Here, you won't just maintain a building. You'll be part of a team that prides itself on Southern hospitality with a contemporary edge — where guests feel the difference the moment they walk through our doors, and where your behind-the-scenes brilliance is the reason everything just works.

The Perks of Keeping the Music Playing

• Competitive pay that reflects your expertise
• Comprehensive benefits, including health coverage and paid time off
• Hotel discounts across an internationally recognized portfolio
• A collaborative, growth-minded culture that values your craft
• The pride of keeping a downtown Nashville icon running like clockwork

Ready to bring your engineering artistry to Music City's front porch? Step into a role where precision meets personality — and where every day, you help keep the show going.
