Travel RN - Cath Lab/EPAmerican TravelerAnniston, Alabama, United StatesPosition status: OpenAssignment type: travelShift: NightsLength (weeks): 13Openings: 2Start date: 2026-11-09T00:00:00.000Z$1,816.02/week (estimated advertised weekly pay)DescriptionAmerican Traveler is hiring a Cath Lab/EP RN for a Post Intervention Cath Unit requiring AL or Compact RN license and ACLS/BLS certification.DetailsPost Intervention Cath Unit, serving as step-down overflow from the Cath Lab and MS unit13-week assignment with night shift schedule (3x12 hours, 7:00 PM-7:00 AM)Patient ratio of 1:4Every other weekend requiredRequirementsActive AL State or Compact RN license requiredCurrent ACLS and BLS certifications (AHA) requiredMinimum 1 year of relevant experience requiredCommunity hospital experience requiredTeaching hospital, Trauma Level I, and Trauma Level II experience preferredPrevious charge nurse experience preferredExperience with IV therapy/phlebotomy and starting/maintaining IVs requiredExperience with accessing/managing ports, blood product administration, central and peripheral line care, and PICC line management preferredExperience interpreting and managing dysrhythmias preferredExperience with pre/post cardiac catheterization and sheath removal requiredExperience with pacemakers, post cardiac angiogram, post MI, and pre/post cardiac surgery care preferredExperience with TR Band and heparin protocols preferredExperience managing cardiac and vasoactive drips (no titration) preferredKnowledge of isolation precautions/PPE and wound care/wound vac preferredAdditional InformationProvide cardiac monitoring, dysrhythmia management, and emergency response as part of unit responsibilitiesUtilize rapid response/code teams as neededCandidates must reside within 60 miles for local consideration, with a lower rate applying to local candidatesRequested time off limited to a maximum of 7 daysPrior permanent employees of the facility are not eligible for travel assignmentsCandidates with a pending license may still be consideredHours per week: 36Hours per shift: 12
