About the Role

The Company is in search of a VP of Product for Airlines to spearhead the development of innovative solutions tailored to the unique needs of the airline industry. The successful candidate will be responsible for leading the product vision, strategy, and execution of airline products that support both crew and disrupted passenger portfolios. This pivotal role involves partnering with airline customers to gain a deep understanding of their operational workflows, pain points, and service expectations, and then translating that knowledge into scalable enterprise product capabilities. The VP of Product will also be tasked with balancing standardized platform features with the specific requirements of different airlines, ensuring the product can scale effectively without excessive customization. Applicants for the VP of Product, Airlines position at the company should have a minimum of 10 years' experience in product management within the airline operations, travel technology, or related fields. Direct experience in airline operations is essential, with a strong understanding of various aspects such as passenger reaccommodation, crew lodging, and operational control. The role requires a leader with a proven track record in product strategy, roadmap planning, and execution, as well as the ability to engage with senior airline stakeholders and frontline operational users. Excellent communication skills are a must, as is the ability to simplify complex operating models for diverse audiences. The VP of Product will also be responsible for mentoring product managers and supporting strategic customer and sales conversations with a focus on airline operations.
