Our organization is seeking a dynamic, motivated, and empathetic Physician to join our team as an Interventional Radiologist .
Facility Overview:The VA Loma Linda Healthcare System (VALLHCS) is on the lookout for a Board Certified Interventional Radiologist dedicated to providing exceptional care for our Veterans—true heroes of our nation! The chosen candidate will also have the opportunity for a faculty position within the Department of Radiology at a local university, engaging in the education and training of medical students, residents, and other healthcare professionals. This is a remarkable opportunity to work in a cutting-edge VA facility located in a vibrant city. Loma Linda VAMC is recognized among the VA Medical Centers in the Western United States, committed to enhancing the health of those who have honorably served our country.
Position Responsibilities:- Provide services to both inpatient and outpatient clinics.
- Conduct interventional procedures, including ultrasound (US), CT, and fluoroscopic-guided lumbar punctures, biopsies, or drainages in various anatomical regions such as the neck, chest, abdomen, pelvis, and musculoskeletal system.
- Perform both invasive and non-invasive procedures within the designated scope of practice at the VA Medical Center.
- Supervise and mentor fellows, residents, and medical students rotating through the Radiology Service.
- Establish a research program focused on relevant areas of Interventional Radiology that will address the healthcare needs of Veterans.
- Interpret diagnostic x-rays.
The salary range for this position is $380,000 - $400,000 .
Work Schedule:The work hours are Monday through Friday, from 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM, with the possibility of evening shifts as needed and on-call coverage.
