Senior Manager Client Value and Strategic Pricing

LHH is supporting a global law firm that is seeking a Senior Manager, Client Value & Strategic Pricing to lead the development of alternative fee arrangements (AFAs), strategic pricing initiatives, and client value programs across the firm. This highly visible role partners with practice leadership, Finance, Business Development, and Legal Project Management to create innovative fee solutions that strengthen client relationships while supporting profitability and growth. Key Responsibilities Lead the design, evaluation, and management of alternative fee arrangements, including fixed-fee, capped-fee, blended-rate, subscription, portfolio, and success-based pricing models. Advise partners and practice leaders on pricing strategy, matter economics, profitability, and commercial risk. Develop financial models, matter budgets, and pricing analyses to support client proposals and strategic engagements. Drive the pricing and commercial strategy for RFPs, panel proposals, and high-profile client pitches. Monitor the performance of AFA matters and provide actionable recommendations to improve financial results and client value. Collaborate across Finance, Business Development, and Practice Groups to deliver consistent and competitive pricing strategies. Track market trends and evolving client expectations related to legal pricing and alternative service delivery models. Qualifications 7+ years of experience in legal pricing, alternative fee arrangements, practice management, legal finance, or commercial strategy. Strong understanding of law firm economics, profitability, and matter budgeting. Experience supporting complex client engagements, RFPs, and strategic pricing initiatives. Excellent analytical, communication, and stakeholder management skills. Ability to influence partners and senior leadership in a fast-paced professional services environment.
