Shift: 11:00 PM - 7:30 AM

Experience:

• 18 months of experience with 3 months worked in the last 12 months.

• Experience with Epic is required.

• Trauma Level 3 experience is required.

Requirements:

• This role will require floating to multiple units

• Local & travel allowed. Candidates living <50 miles from facility will be processed as local.

• 12 months gap required between for Part-Time at Program: Simplifi Program - Advocate Health Southeast and no current placement allowed at Program: Simplifi Program - Advocate Health Southeast.

• 12 months gap required between for Per Diem at Program: Simplifi Program - Advocate Health Southeast and no current placement allowed at Program: Simplifi Program - Advocate Health Southeast.

Additional Details:

Required Skills/Experience: First-time travelers allowed if they have trauma facility experience. Must be comfortable with trauma patients. Need to be comfortable with the majority of OR specialties: spinal, ortho, general surgery, neuro, and peds. C-arm experience required.

Preferred Skills/Experience: O-arm experience preferred.

Special Requests: RTO requires manager approval.

Unit Details: General X-ray includes imaging of head, neck, spine, extremities, abdomen, hands, feet, and chest, including portable bedside exams. OR cases include spinal, ortho, general surgery, neuro, and pediatric cases. Adult and pediatric patients, including neonates, from the ED, ICUs, nursing units, and outpatient areas. Teaching-facility environment with high-acuity patients and situations. May rotate shift-by-shift between ED, OR, and Main. May be asked to precept x-ray students depending on experience. Works with MD residents and fellows; radiologists are on site. Equipment includes Shimadzu RadSpeed general rad room, Konica and Shimadzu portables, Philips C-arm, and GE O-arm.

Shift & Scheduling: Mon-Fri. No rotations between weekends and weekdays; travelers stay on the days and shifts in their contract. Holiday expectations: if it is on a normally scheduled day, they will work it. Call varies and is staffed with a fair rotation between full-time, part-time, PRN, and traveler teammates. Frequency depends on team size and is shared equally through fair rotation.

Floating Requirements: Float only to different x-ray areas and for portables within this facility.

14 days maximum time off

1 Manager/Supervisor reference required from within the last 12 months

1 Charge/Lead reference required from within the last 12 months
