Site Medic-Camp Attendant

WolfTrek is an Indigenous owned technical workforce management company. We are currenting hiring for a Camp Attendant/Site Medic for a small remote oil and gas plant located near Hay River, BC. This a long term contract position, working on a 14 on 14 off schedule, 11 hours per day, with a fly in fly out form Edmonton.
This is a small site, so medic duties will 50% of the responsibilities, in this role you we will be expected to support the camp with cleaning rooms, stocking supplies and other duties as required.

Experience and Qualifications:

• 1+year site medic experience 
• Experience working in an oil and gas environment. 
• Reliable and strong work ethic
• High school diploma or equivalent; and/or a combination of education or relevant work experience. 
• Excellent communication skills: written and verbal. 
• High attention to detail, and ability to develop good working relationships.

Training & Certifications:

• AFA(Advanced First Aid) or OFA3 certification is required.
• Valid H2S Alive, Standard First aid, CSO and WHMIS 
• Valid Class 5 Driver’s License and ability to provide a clean Driver’s Abstract
• Must successfully complete pre-employment drug and alcohol testing

Daily Duties

• Email weather report / wildfire updates
• Operator check ins from 8:00 am to 7:00pm through radio system
• Deliver orientations for all new guests
• Check in/check out new guests and update room status sheet
• Conduct bump tests on gas monitors
• Conduct radio check on emergency handheld radios
• Sweep and mop hallways and common areas
• Start and fuel quad if needed
• Clean and disinfect all bathroom surfaces and towel racks
• Wash down all shower stalls and wash all toilets and mirrors, sweep and mop boot room
• Restock bathrooms with required supplies, sweep or shovel off front porch area
• Wipe down and disinfect medic room surfaces
• Disinfect all common area light switches and doorknobs
• Wash bedding and remake beds as guests leave
• Clean all coffee tables
• Clean ashtrays in smoking room
• Stock pop fridge
