Family Medicine Physician for AI Model Training

Role Overview
Apply your family medicine or primary care expertise to help develop safe, accurate, and explainable clinical AI tools. You will review, annotate, and validate medical data, using your judgment to improve how AI systems interpret clinical context and support decision-making.
Key Responsibilities
- Review and label clinical text, EHR data, and case notes used to train AI models.
- Identify and validate medical entities, diagnoses, treatment pathways, and outcomes relevant to family medicine.
- Audit annotated datasets for clinical accuracy and consistency, including cross-checking AI-generated outputs for medical soundness.
- Provide input on annotation guidelines, taxonomy development, and edge-case definitions.
- Collaborate with data scientists and engineers to strengthen AI understanding of medical context.
- Evaluate AI-generated clinical recommendations and summaries, flag inaccuracies, and provide structured feedback for model refinement.
- Help create clinical documentation standards and training materials for new annotators.
Qualifications
- MD or DO degree with a specialization in Family Medicine or Internal Medicine.
- At least 2 years of clinical experience in inpatient or hospitalist care settings.
- Academic hospital experience is preferred.
Eligibility
- Board-certified or board-eligible in Family Medicine or Internal Medicine.
Work Terms
- In-person, on-site role based in San Francisco.
- Hourly engagement.

Compensation
