Role Overview
Apply your biology expertise to improve AI-driven solutions in the life sciences by reviewing real-world biological content, authoring and editing scientific materials, and guiding model understanding through high-quality domain feedback. This contractor role is remote, and no previous AI experience is required; your academic and research background is the key qualification.
Key Responsibilities- Review, annotate, and provide practical feedback on diverse biological datasets and educational content.
- Author, evaluate, and edit laboratory reports, research papers, and field study narratives to ensure scientific accuracy and clarity.
- Develop and refine prompts, queries, and data inputs that guide AI model understanding of biological concepts.
- Identify knowledge gaps and ambiguities in model-generated outputs, and provide expert corrections and explanations.
- Collaborate with project managers and technical teams using clear, concise written and verbal communication.
- Contribute to the creation of educational and reference materials used for AI training and validation.
- Keep current with trends and standards in biology and related life sciences.
- BSc, MSc, or PhD in Biology, Life Sciences, or a closely related discipline.
- Demonstrated experience authoring laboratory reports, peer-reviewed research papers, or field studies.
- Strong scientific writing skills, able to communicate complex biological information clearly.
- Proficiency in analyzing and interpreting biological data from experimental work or literature sources.
- Attention to detail and commitment to scientific rigor and accuracy.
- Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, with emphasis on precision and clarity.
- Prior experience collaborating remotely on scientific, research, or educational projects is a plus.
