Role Overview
Apply advanced computational physics expertise to shape how next-generation AI systems learn and reason. You will provide detailed, real-world problem-solving walkthroughs that show how AI coding agents can be used to tackle complex computational physics tasks, influence model training data, and improve agent-driven workflows.
Key Responsibilities- Provide detailed, step-by-step walkthroughs of computational physics problem solving using AI coding agents in complex technical scenarios.
- Demonstrate the use of agent tools, including Codex, Claude Science, Claude Code, and Claude Cowork, for tasks such as navigating large codebases, debugging nuanced issues, and developing sophisticated features.
- Document and clearly explain the specific approaches, decisions, and methodologies used when employing AI agents for sequence generation, not chat-based tasks.
- Assess and describe workflows where agentic tools supported architectural changes or resolved ambiguous computational challenges.
- Produce high-quality examples and technical feedback intended to improve AI model training and evaluation.
- Communicate findings and insights accurately and clearly through written reports and verbal presentations.
- Required: Strong background in computational physics and demonstrated technical problem-solving ability.
- Required: Proficiency in Python and experience working in technical, research, or engineering contexts.
- Required: Strong debugging skills, experience with technical documentation, and effective technical communication.
- Preferred: Hands-on experience using AI coding agents such as Codex, Claude Science, Claude Code, and Claude Cowork in real-world workflows, particularly for sequence generation tasks rather than chat-based interactions.
- Preferred: Experience applying agentic tools to architectural change management and developing within large-scale code environments.
- No prior formal experience in AI research is required, the role values domain expertise; however, candidates who already incorporate AI coding agents into their workflows are especially well suited.
