Apply deep civil rights law expertise to create, review, and refine real-world legal content that trains and evaluates next-generation AI systems. This contract role focuses on transforming substantive legal knowledge into high-quality annotations, scenarios, and feedback that improve how AI systems reason about civil rights issues. No prior AI experience is required; domain expertise is the priority.
Key Responsibilities- Review, analyze, and annotate legal documents and case studies relating to civil rights law.
- Develop detailed explanations of legal concepts, statutes, and precedents within the civil rights domain.
- Draft and refine realistic scenarios, queries, and model responses to simulate authentic civil rights legal situations.
- Evaluate AI-generated outputs for accuracy, legal soundness, and ethical compliance, providing constructive feedback and suggested corrections.
- Research and summarize emerging trends, case law updates, and policy developments that affect civil rights law.
- Collaborate with project stakeholders and technical teams through clear written and verbal communication.
- Ensure all contributions meet high standards of accuracy, clarity, and practical applicability.
- Required skills: civil rights law, legal research and analysis, legal writing, case law analysis, critical thinking, attention to detail, communication, collaboration, policy analysis, statutory interpretation.
- Preferred qualifications: Juris Doctor degree, active bar membership in the United States, substantial experience practicing civil rights law including litigation or policy analysis, exceptional ability to synthesize complex legal information into accessible formats.
- Interest in technology and artificial intelligence is a plus, but no prior AI experience is necessary.
