Consultant for AI Model Evaluation [Remote]

Evaluate and optimize AI-generated outputs for a customer-facing project by applying your domain expertise to help train next-generation AI systems. This remote, part-time contractor role focuses on improving the accuracy, clarity, and business alignment of model outputs through detailed review, prompt refinement, documentation, and actionable feedback. No prior AI experience is required, domain knowledge and analytical rigor are the primary requirements.

• Evaluate and refine AI-generated responses for accuracy, clarity, and alignment with business objectives.
• Author, review, and enhance technical documentation, strategy reports, market analyses, business cases, and executive summaries for senior audiences.
• Develop and improve prompts for large language models using structured problem-solving and analytical methods.
• Perform detailed content review, quality assurance, and rubric-based assessment of AI outputs.
• Annotate data, interpret findings, and perform fact-checking to ensure reliability and high quality.
• Provide professional, actionable written feedback and recommendations on AI performance and content suitability.

• Required skills, demonstrated through work or portfolio: critical thinking, analytical reasoning, attention to detail, quality assurance, written communication, technical documentation, prompt authoring and refinement, AI output evaluation, professional writing, report writing, business communication, problem solving, content review, data interpretation, logical reasoning, professional editing, independent research, data annotation, rubric-based evaluation, content evaluation, AI model evaluation, fact checking, reinforcement learning from human feedback familiarity, technical editing, and prompt engineering.
• Preferred experience: 3+ years delivering work in strategy consulting, management consulting, corporate strategy, business transformation, or operations within analytically rigorous settings.
• Proven ability to create client presentations, recommendation memos, or market analyses using structured methodologies, and to write for senior stakeholders.
• Bachelor''s degree or equivalent professional experience is required. An advanced degree such as a Master’s, JD, MBA, or PhD is a plus. Candidates from highly selective academic programs or with equivalent achievements are encouraged to apply.
