Litigation Paralegal

Cabanas Law Firm is seeking an experienced, detail-oriented Litigation Paralegal to join our growing legal team. This role is responsible for managing cases from inception through trial preparation while ensuring all deadlines are met and attorneys are fully supported throughout the litigation process. Responsibilities: • Manage an active litigation caseload from initial filing through trial preparation. • Draft, prepare, and file pleadings, motions, notices, subpoenas, discovery requests, mandatory disclosures, and other legal documents. • Ensure all court filings are completed accurately and timely through the Florida E-Filing Portal. • Maintain litigation calendars and monitor all court deadlines, hearings, mediations, depositions, and trial dates. • Prepare and organize discovery, including interrogatories, requests for production, requests for admission, and responses. • Coordinate with attorneys regarding discovery deadlines and case strategy. • Schedule hearings, mediations, depositions, and expert witness appointments. • Communicate professionally with clients, opposing counsel, court personnel, and vendors. • Maintain organized electronic and physical case files. • Assist attorneys with trial preparation, exhibit organization, witness lists, and trial notebooks. • Review court dockets and ensure compliance with all procedural deadlines. • Prepare settlement packages and mediation materials when necessary. • Assist with legal research and document management. • Maintain confidentiality while exercising sound judgment and professionalism. Qualifications: • Minimum of 3 years of litigation paralegal experience required. • Family Law litigation experience preferred. • Strong knowledge of Florida Rules of Civil Procedure. • Experience using Florida E-Filing Portal. • Experience with Rocket Matter or similar case management software preferred. • Excellent written and verbal communication skills. • Strong organizational and time management abilities. • Ability to manage multiple priorities in a deadline-driven environment. • High attention to detail and accuracy. • Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively with attorneys and staff. • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, Adobe Acrobat, and legal document management systems. • Bilingual (English/Spanish) preferred. Compensation: $65,000 - $75,000 DOE

Compensation:
$65,000-$75,000 per year
