Licensed Practical Nurse
Licensed Practical Nurse needed for a 6-week school contract in West Newbury, Massachusetts. The role supports student health needs, administers medications, and maintains a safe classroom environment. The position offers competitive pay up to $35 per hour and comprehensive benefits.
Key Responsibilities:
- Support students with health needs and provide classroom paraprofessional assistance
- Administer medications as directed when nursery staff cannot delegate
- Assist in maintaining a safe and healthy school environment
- Review coverage needs with the school nurse and adapt support accordingly
- Communicate effectively with staff, students, and parents regarding health matters
Qualifications:
- NH LPN license or equivalent
- Active MA LPN license
- Minimum 1 year pediatric/school nursing experience
- Strong communication and classroom support skills
- Ability to support students' health needs
- Background check and compliance with school policies
