Machine OperatorCompany: HW Staffing Location: Granite Quarry NC Job Type: Full-time Shifts available 6am to 4:30pm Monday thru Thursday OR Fridays Saturday, Sunday 6am to 6:30 pm 2nd shift is 4:30pm to 3:00am Monday – Thursday Pay: $20.00/ 22.00 per hour We are seeking motivated and reliable individuals to join our team as Machine Operators.Job Summary: The Machine Operator is responsible for operating and maintaining machinery used in the production of industrial garage doors. This role requires precise measurement skills, including the ability to accurately read and interpret ruler measurements, attention to detail, adherence to safety protocols, and the ability to lift and maneuver materials weighing up to 40 pounds.Responsibilities:Operate and monitor various machines, including but not limited to roll forming machines, presses, and cutting equipment.Accurately measure and cut materials according to precise specifications using rulers and other measuring tools.Set up and adjust machinery according to production specifications.Load and unload materials onto machines, ensuring proper alignment and feeding.Inspect finished products for quality and accuracy, ensuring they meet company standards.Perform routine maintenance and cleaning of machinery.Follow all safety procedures and guidelines to prevent accidents and injuries.Maintain accurate production records and reports.Work effectively as part of a team to meet production goals.Lift and move materials weighing up to 40 pounds regularly.Maintain a clean and organized work area.Other duties as assigned.Qualifications:Ability to accurately read and interpret ruler measurements.Previous experience operating industrial machinery is a plus.Ability to read and interpret production specifications and blueprints is helpfulStrong mechanical aptitude and problem-solving skills.Excellent attention to detail and quality control.Ability to work independently and as part of a team.Ability to lift and carry up to 40 pounds repetitively.Ability to stand for extended periods and perform repetitive tasks.Reliable and punctual.Good communication skills.Willingness to work 4, 10 hour shifts.Physical Requirements:Ability to lift and carry up to 40 pounds regularly.Ability to stand, walk, bend, and reach for extended periods.Ability to work in a manufacturing environment with varying temperatures and noise levels.Ability to use hands and fingers to handle and manipulate materials.Equal Opportunity Employer: HW Staffing is an equal opportunity employer and values diversity.
