The Encompass Group is partnering with an incredible firm in the staffing and recruiting sector to help them add a stellar Accountant to the team.
Accountant:
Responsibilities:
- Oversee day-to-day accounting operations, including AP, AR, payroll, and general ledger activities.
- Prepare monthly financial statements, account reconciliations, and management reports.
- Manage cash flow, budgeting, forecasting, and financial analysis.
- Ensure compliance with accounting standards, company policies, and regulatory requirements.
- Support audits, tax filings, and year-end close processes.
- Partner with leadership to improve financial processes and operational efficiency.
Requirements:
- 5+ years of accounting experience with progressive responsibility.
- Strong knowledge of GAAP, financial reporting, and month-end close.
- Experience with ERP/accounting software and advanced Excel skills.
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field preferred.
