Electrical Controls Engineer: Rockford, IL
We are seeking a detail-oriented and technically skilled Electrical Controls Engineer to join our client’s growing engineering team. This opportunity is ideal for someone who thrives in a collaborative environment, enjoys hands-on problem-solving, and is passionate about developing reliable electrical and safety control systems.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design, develop, and test electrical components, equipment, and control systems in accordance with company and customer specifications, utilizing engineering principles and CAD software
- Create and interpret electrical drawings and schematics
- Collaborate with engineers, customers, and vendors to identify project requirements, and select appropriate equipment and materials
- Provide technical support to internal and external customers
- Coordinate engineering projects to meet quality, safety, budget, and timeline expectations
Skills & Experience :
- Education : Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or equivalent, required
- Experience : 3+ years of Electrical Engineering experience in industrial an environment, required
- Knowledge: Ability to develop and interpret technical drawings and design modern safety control systems, required
- Software: SolidWorks Electrical and/or AutoCAD Electrical, required

Pay: $95,000 - $130,000/year, based on experience
Type: Full-time, 1st Shift, Onsite
Schedule: Monday – Friday 8:00 a.m. – 5:00 p.m.
