Executive Director, Global Product Lead, Immunology Research and Development

AstraZeneca seeks an Executive Director and Global Product Lead for its Immunology R&D division to drive strategy and development of cellular therapies for immune-mediated diseases. This role requires deep clinical expertise, cross-functional leadership, and the ability to manage early-stage immunology programs through regulatory milestones.

Responsibilities

• Develop and execute comprehensive account plans aligned to cardiovascular business strategy and institutional needs
• Serve as strategic lead for assigned key accounts, engaging priority providers and managing multiple touchpoints within complex organizations
• Lead implementation initiatives to drive sustainable institutional utilization across inpatient and ambulatory care settings
• Meet regularly with clinical opinion leaders and P&T committee members to present compliant data and drive appropriate product utilization
• Monitor account performance and market dynamics; identify barriers and coordinate pull-through initiatives across field teams

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree with 6+ years sales or account management experience
• Master's degree with 4+ years related healthcare sales experience, or Doctorate with 2+ years
• 3+ years account management and/or public payor experience strongly preferred
• Cardiology experience including dyslipidemia, heart failure, and acute coronary syndromes highly preferred
• Knowledge of hospital committee structures, P&T processes, and CMS reimbursement systems
• Demonstrated ability to influence internal matrix teams and external healthcare system stakeholders
