Production Supervisor

Production Supervisor at Stryker overseeing manufacturing operations across assembly, inspection, material handling, and packaging. Will manage approximately 20 employees and coordinate with cross-functional teams to meet production, quality, and operational targets. First shift position based in San Jose, California.
Responsibilities
- Oversee daily manufacturing activities and ensure compliance with validated processes and quality requirements
- Manage team of 20 employees including scheduling, training, performance management, and hiring
- Develop and monitor production plans to achieve daily and monthly targets and operational metrics
- Coordinate issue resolution with Engineering, Quality, Supply Planning, Finance, and R&D
- Monitor and drive performance on safety, quality, productivity, downtime, waste, and compliance metrics
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree
- Minimum 4 years production, manufacturing, or operations experience
- Minimum 1 year supervisory or coordinating experience in manufacturing environment
- Experience supervising in regulated industry preferred
- Proficiency with ERP or production planning systems preferred
- Lean Manufacturing or Lean Six Sigma certification preferred
Compensation: $116,100 - $193,400 USD Annual
