Senior Pharmacy Technician

Adecco Healthcare & Life Sciences is hiring a Senior Pharmacy Technician in Baton Rouge, LA ! This role is onsite / in person. Please read below and apply with an updated resume for consideration:

Type: Four-month contract

Schedule: Monday through Friday, 8:30AM - 5:00PM

Pay: $22.00 - $24.50 per hour per based on experience

Responsibilities of the Pharmacy Technician:

· Perform various duties related to the fulfillment of prescription orders.

· Dispense any or all of the following: unit doses, specialty pharmaceuticals, injectables, IV, related supplies following state and federal regulations and company policies and procedures.

· Will process, pack and ship outgoing pharmacy orders, ensuring drug, related supplies and patient collateral (education materials) are included.

· May also perform drug/supply ordering and inventory/warehouse duties, including proper storage of drugs and supplies and appropriate refrigeration of perishable product, monitor and adjust/calibrate pharmacy equipment, fill dispensing units.

Qualifications for the Pharmacy Technician:

· High School Graduate or GED

· Pharmacy Technician license in Louisiana

· Pharmacy Technician experience preferably Home Infusion
