Executive Director

The Mortgage Bankers Association of Louisville is seeking an experienced, proactive, and relationship‑driven Executive Director to serve as the professional face of the organization and oversee daily operations, Board support, communications, compliance, and member engagement. This role ensures seamless execution of events, programs, and administrative functions, supporting the Board of Directors and committees in fulfilling the Association’s mission. Key Responsibilities: Operational & Administrative Management Implement strategic and operational plans developed by the Board Maintain comprehensive knowledge of programs, initiatives, and processes Coordinate meetings, events, venues, and logistics Manage event communications and marketing activities Board & Meeting Support Serve as liaison and advisor to the Board (non‑voting role) Work with the President to prepare agendas and supporting materials Organize Board communications, documentation, and attendance tracking Communication & Marketing Produce and distribute monthly e‑newsletter Manage meeting notices, reminders, and deadlines Develop and execute event marketing campaigns Maintain website content and social media platforms Collaborate with the Communications Committee Act as authorized signatory with the Treasurer Process invoices, reimbursements, and payments Maintain financial records, including QuickBooks Track registrations, sponsorships, and outstanding balances Prepare monthly and ad‑hoc financial reports Compliance & Reporting Ensure timely tax filings File reports with the Kentucky Secretary of State Maintain nonprofit and legal standing Support adherence to bylaws and policies Event & Program Support Manage event logistics and onsite coordination Work with committees to support programs Maintain event documentation and contracts Track registrations, attendance, and payments Records & Governance Maintain official organizational records Update bylaws and policies following Board approval Ensure documentation is accessible for Board review Website & Membership Administration Maintain accurate and timely website content Manage membership records and engagement tracking Ensure accessibility of organizational resources Role Summary The Executive Director serves as the chief administrative and operational leader of the Association, ensuring strong support for the Board, committees, membership, and the community while advancing the organization’s mission and activities. #J-18808-Ljbffr
