Job Description The primary role of the Speech Language Pathologist is to direct all aspects of quality patient care, including evaluation and treatment, treatment planning, goal setting, family education, and documentation according to organizational guidelines, professional standards, and community needs. The role serves as a patient and rehabilitation advocate for current and prospective patients and all internal and external customers, and participates in quality assurance and customer service activities. Qualifications Graduate of an approved curriculum in Speech Language Pathology, able to practice unencumbered, in good standing with all regulatory agencies and licensing boards, possessing working knowledge of Medicare and other payer sources, full knowledge of residents' rights, exudes professionalism in presentation, and able to work on multiple tasks simultaneously. Applicants must have proven success in providing extraordinary care, be proactive, and contribute as part of a dynamic team.
