As a Housekeeper, you'll support that mission by helping Participants regain and maintain the mobility and independence that make daily life possible.This isn't abstract work. You'll see the impact of your support every day, whether it's helping someone recover from a fall or giving them the confidence to walk across their living room without fear.Key Responsibilities:Candidate will be compassionate and detail-oriented and will assist our frail elderly participants in their homes.The Housekeeper will help maintain a clean and organized environment while providing essential laundry services, ensuring that our participants feel comfortable and cared for.Will perform general housekeeping duties, including dusting, vacuuming, sweeping, and mopping floors.Will clean bathrooms, kitchens, and living areas to ensure a hygienic environment.Manage laundry tasks, including washing, drying, folding, and organizing clothing and linens.Requirements:Must have valid Driver's License and access to a vehicle.Education/Experience:Minimum of 1 year experience providing direct care within the Elderly/Frail population. Previous housekeeping or laundry experience preferred.Strong attention to detail and a commitment to cleanliness required as well as the ability to follow instructions and work independently.Must have excellent communication and interpersonal skills and a compassionate and patient demeanor, with a desire to help others.Salary range: $16.50-20.63 hourly, commensurate with experience and qualifications.LIFE Pittsburgh also offers a comprehensive benefits package, including health insurance, retirement plan, paid time off, and professional development opportunities.
