Senior Project Manager — Highway / Transportation Engineering (Connecticut)A highly respected engineering consulting firm is seeking a Senior Project Manager — Highway Engineer to lead major transportation and roadway projects across Connecticut. This leadership role offers the opportunity to manage high-profile infrastructure work for state and municipal clients while mentoring a growing team.ResponsibilitiesManage planning, design, and delivery of highway and roadway projectsServe as Project Manager on state DOT and municipal transportation assignmentsOversee scope, schedule, budget, and quality controlDirect geometric design, drainage, traffic coordination, and construction plan developmentSupervise and mentor engineers and technical staffCoordinate with clients, agencies, and stakeholdersSupport proposals, business development, and client relationship managementQualificationsBachelor's degree in Civil EngineeringPE license required (CT preferred or ability to obtain)10+ years of highway/transportation engineering experienceDemonstrated project management experience on DOT projectsStrong knowledge of roadway design standards and permittingProven leadership and communication skillsPreferred ExperienceConnecticut Department of Transportation (CTDOT) project experience highly desiredExperience with complex corridor or interchange projectsFamiliarity with MicroStation, OpenRoads, or similar roadway design softwareCompensation & BenefitsCompetitive salary commensurate with experiencePerformance bonusesMedical, dental, and vision coverage401(k) with company matchGenerous PTO and flexible work optionsClear path to senior leadership
