Project Manager I

Project ManagerThe Project Manager (PM) has full responsibility for an entire project. He/she is responsible for safety, quality, schedule, coordination, profitability and progress of the work. The PM will be the first point of contact for the owner and handles all commercial aspects. He/she will be involved in the project from advertisement to estimating and award through construction and final completion. The PM will be responsible for one or more projects depending on contract amounts and project demand.Principal/Essential Duties & Responsibilities EstimatingCorrespondence and negotiations with clientSubcontract and purchase order preparation and approvalJob cost reviewsCost forecast reviewsChange order and claim preparationM/W/DBE selection, auditing, and complianceScheduling oversightInvoice approvalSite staff personnel managementControl estimate preparationMonitoring of compliance with quality and safety standardsQualifications Required Minimum of 10 years experience preferably in heavy highway civil constructionBachelors of Science in Civil Engineering or similar degreePreferred Experience with software such as Heavyjob, HeavyBid, Procore, AutoCAD, Bluebeam, BIM, and Fieldwire is preferredCompensation Range: $130,000- $180,000
