As an Armed Security Officer at a residential community, you will monitor access points, verify visitors, conduct routine patrols, and maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents. What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to residents, guests, vendors, and visitors by carrying out access control procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Monitor vehicle and pedestrian access at entry points, verify authorization, and document visitor, contractor, and delivery activity in accordance with community procedures.
• Respond to incidents, resident concerns, access issues, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner; notify appropriate personnel and/or emergency services as directed.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of residential community areas, entry gates, roadways, amenities, and perimeter areas to help deter unauthorized activity and identify security-related concerns.
• Maintain accurate logs, reports, and shift documentation related to access activity, incidents, and observations.

Minimum Requirements:

• Possess a valid armed guard card.
• A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
• Minimum of 2 years of corrections, law enforcement, military and/or degree in criminal justice
• Graduate of Public Safety Academy.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
