Full-time Armed Security GuardSilver Star Protection Group (SSPG), established in 2014, is a security firm headquartered in Rolling Meadows, Illinois. We offer a comprehensive suite of services, including physical security, security system integration, consultation, and secure transport. We cater to various industries such as cannabis, commercial real estate, construction, data centers, and more. Our leadership team comprises professionals with backgrounds in law enforcement, military, and business sectors. Silver Star Protection Group is dedicated to delivering customized security solutions to meet diverse client needs.The Security Guard is responsible for providing security services at a client site(s) during scheduled shifts. The guard's schedule, site assignments, and hours are subject to change based on client needs, staffing requirements, call-offs, and contract adjustments. While SSPG strives to accommodate preferred schedules, flexibility is essential for the role.· Provide security services at the assigned client site(s), ensuring the safety and security of personnel, premises, and assets.· Be available to work various shifts and client sites as needed. Schedule and locations may change depending on client needs, staffing requirements, or other operational factors.· Maintain professionalism in all interactions with clients, visitors, and staff. Ensure that all communication fosters a positive and secure environment.· Conduct regular patrols of the assigned site and monitor surveillance equipment, ensuring adherence to the client's security protocols.· Accurately document any incidents, security breaches, or irregularities, and promptly report them to the appropriate personnel for follow-up.· Additional duties as assigned by Silver Star leadership team.· High school diploma or equivalent required.· Armed License Required.· Already have or able to obtain a cannabis agent ID.· Must own a firearm with a level 2 retention holster or higher.· Able to pass a drug test (St. Louis specific)· Previous armed security or related experience preferred.· Strong situational awareness and attention to detail.· Excellent communication and de-escalation skills.· Ability to stand, walk, or patrol for extended periods.· Capability to respond quickly and effectively in emergencies.· Medical, Dental, Vision, Life – 60 Days· Paid Time Off (PTO) – 90 Days· Weekly pay on Fridays· Referral bonus· Compensation: $18-20Must have legal authorization to work in the United States.Silver Star Protection Group is an Equal Opportunity Employer.
