Manufacturing Engineer IIAs a Manufacturing Engineer II at our Fullerton, CA location, you'll be part of our engineering team working as an onsite employee. This role develops, evaluates and enhances manufacturing methods for aerospace machined components, utilizing knowledge of product design, materials, fabrication processes, lean principles, assembly methods and quality control standards.Key responsibilities include:Support manufacturing processes to ensure safety, quality, and efficiency.Assist with creating and maintaining work instructions, routers, and standard operating procedures.Support process changes, validations and shop-floor improvements.Participate in NPI, FAI, and Continuous Improvement Projects.Collects and analyzes basic manufacturing data (cycle time, scrap rate, yield).Reviews and implements manufacturing drawing and engineering change notices.Support Cost-Reduction and Efficiency initiatives.Participates in PFMEA, Process Capability, and RCCA studiesQualificationsBasic qualifications include:Bachelor's degree in Engineering in Mechanical, Industrial, or Manufacturing Engineering (OR equivalent hands-on relevant experience will also be considered).3+ years of engineering experience.Strong knowledge of CNC manufacturing and aerospace standards.Experience with AS9100 and NADCAP standards.Knowledge of GD&T, fixturing and gaging methods.Statistical process control experience in the aerospace industry.Basic Computer Skills: Microsoft Office Suite products, and strong knowledge of Solidworks or other modeling software.Experience in metal manufacturing, especially using titanium and/or nickel based superalloys.Employees must be legally authorized to work in the United States. Pay is based on market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience.
