Responsibilities At Three Rivers Behavioral Health, a 136 bed facility located in West Columbia, SC, we never forget that patients are people -- people with potential, who can have better relationships and live more productive lives. Three Rivers provides psychiatric, detoxification/rehabilitation, and dual diagnosis treatment through inpatient services for adolescents and adults. Our outpatient services include a Partial Hospitalization Program offering psychiatric day treatment for adults and an Adult Chemical Dependency Intensive Outpatient Treatment Program offering day and evening sessions. Hourly Shift Differentials: (not applicable) Key Physical Requirements: Ability to continuously walk and stand for duration of shift. Ability to stoop, kneel, crouch, reach, pull, lift objects from a lower to higher position or horizontally from position to position. Exertion of up to 20 pounds of force occasionally, and/or up to 10 pounds of force frequently. Manual dexterity and physical agility to perform de‑escalation procedures. Must be able to deal with aggressive, hostile, and irrational behavior of patients calmly and therapeutically. Must be able to respond immediately to crisis situations concerning patients and/or family members; must be able to work and concentrate amidst distractions, such as noise, conversation, and foot traffic. Qualifications Job Requirements: Licensure: Current license or permit to practice professional nursing in the state of employment. New grads encouraged to apply!
