• Experience: Significant leadership and clinical experience in Hematology/Oncology required; academic or large health system experience preferred

Pay & Benefits:

• Hourly Pay Rate: $1.00 (This appears to be an internal or placeholder rate; compensation details available upon application)
• Annual Salary Range: $500,000 - $550,000 (based on experience and training)

What You’ll Do:

• Provide strategic leadership and operational oversight for the Hematology/Oncology division
• Lead and mentor more than 40 faculty physicians, fostering academic and clinical excellence
• Oversee clinical, research, and academic programs involving hematology and oncology services
• Manage systemwide initiatives, including expansion of oncology services across hospitals and outpatient clinics
• Collaborate with hospital leadership and research institutions on innovative cancer care and clinical trials
• Maintain a clinical practice (~25%) in hematology/oncology
• Support educational and training programs for residents and fellows
• Lead multidisciplinary efforts to improve patient outcomes and develop new models of care

What You Need:
Required:

• Medical license in Michigan
• Board certification or eligibility in Hematology/Oncology
• Completion of Hematology/Oncology fellowship
• Significant leadership experience within an academic or large health system setting
• EMR experience (Epic preferred)
• Authorization for H1B visa sponsorship

Preferred:

• Leadership titles like Vice Chair, Chief, Program Director, or Department Head
• Experience overseeing faculty, clinical programs, and research initiatives
