Overview The Product Training Manager is responsible for the planning, implementation, and evaluation of product education for sales teams. This role is critical in developing an organization that understands the importance of product knowledge excellence to the success and growth of our customers and the enterprise. Primary Responsibilities Administer the education, training, and development programs that foster the organizational expertise needed to maximize employee effectiveness and efficiency in the market. Implement and facilitate learning and development strategies and programs to meet objectives. Research, identify, and implement new opportunities to support training needs and goals, and identify ongoing business needs to be addressed by meaningful, action-oriented training. Generate reporting to ensure 100% compliance with the core curriculum. Conduct follow‑up studies of all completed training to evaluate and measure results. Work with sales consultants and managers as requested by the Leadership Team to provide developmental feedback and coaching. Oversee the scheduling and coordination of all sales training classes; develop calendars for initial training program roll‑outs and program maintenance. Perform other job‑related duties as assigned. Minimum Qualifications Bachelor’s degree plus 3 years of experience, or an equivalent combination of education and experience. Demonstrated proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint). Expert knowledge of sales and sales management techniques. Three years of industry experience with demonstrated spirit and wine product knowledge. Certification from the Wine and Spirits Education Trust, Court of Master Sommeliers, and Society of Wine/Spirits Educators. Knowledge of adult learning theory and application. Ability to work effectively in a team environment and collaborate across lines of business and functions. Must be at least 21 years of age. Physical Demands Physical activities may include prolonged sitting and typing or keyboard use with a computer or mobile device. Activities such as walking, bending, reaching, standing, squatting, and stooping may be required. Occasional lifting, lowering, pushing, carrying, or pulling up to 20 lbs. may be necessary.
